With China\u2019s accession, the Hague System will now cover nine out of ten of the world\u2019s top economic markets according to World Bank rankings. The 1999 Geneva Act of the Hague Agreement will enter into force in China on May 5, 2022 and from May 5 2022 companies and designers in the signatory countries, will be able to provide international design protection in China, making it easier to enter one of the world\u2019s largest and most dynamic markets.
